Research on Equivalent Modeling Method of Energy Storage Power Station Based on Measured Response Consistency

Establishing an accurate model of renewable energy and energy storage power station (ESPS) is the basis for studying the influence of “double-high” power system on the security and stability of the power grid. The currently using classical model cannot accurately reflect the actual response characteristics of renewable energy and ESPS, and the large scale of renewable energy and ESPS and the complexity of the operating conditions lead to the increase in the error of the existing equivalent modeling methods. In this paper, based on the semi-physical simulation platform and parameter collection, the energy storage unit (ESU) model which is consistent with the response characteristics of the actual ESU is constructed. Then, based on the internal power distribution characteristics and impedance distribution characteristics of the renewable energy and ESPS, the power distribution variance and voltage distribution deviation are defined, and the equivalent modeling method and equivalent model structure of the renewable energy and ESPS are proposed. Finally, the effectiveness and adaptability of the proposed method are demonstrated through the simulation and verification of the single-machine ESU of the ESPS and the stational-level simulation and verification.
