A Study on An Accelerated Durability Testing and Evaluation Methodology for a Fuel-Cell Passenger Vehicle

This study aims to establish structural-durability test conditions for fuel-cell vehicles at dedicated proving grounds, enabling rapid durability and reliability assessments of key components. Initially, a data-acquisition scheme is devised to capture representative public-road profiles for fuel-cell passenger cars. Pseudo-damage of critical components serves as the principal reference, and the load spectra are extrapolated by means of the least-squares method to construct a user-correlation model. On this basis, an accelerated proving-ground durability test procedure for fuel-cell passenger vehicles is ultimately developed to meet market requirements.
