Finite Element Analysis-Based Design Scheme for Optimization of Core Shape and Losses

This study presents an optimized design solution for wireless power transfer (WPT) in electric vehicles (EVs), with a primary focus on improving the utilization of the magnetic core. The paper begins by analyzing the key factors affecting core losses. Finite element simulation analysis is then employed to evaluate the core's performance. By adjusting the size and structure of the magnetic core, the solution ensures that core losses remain within acceptable limits while reducing the size of low flux density regions. This approach effectively balances performance, core losses control, and cost, offering a more compact and economically feasible solution for WPT.
