Consensus-Based Cooperative Control Strategy for BESS in DC Microgrids

This paper presents a consensus-based secondary control strategy for BESS in DC microgrids by using hierarchical control framework, where a double-loop I-V droop control is used in the primary control layer to achieve current sharing and bus voltage stabilization, while a dynamic compensation term involving a variable acceleration factor is introduced in the secondary control layer to accelerate SoC balance. Moreover, a voltage compensation term is constructed to address bus voltage restoration. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
