Development and Evaluation of an IoT-Based Home Water Usage Monitoring System Using LoRa and ESP32

This paper presents the design and setup of a smart home water usage monitoring system using Internet of Things (IoT) and Long Range (LoRa) technology. The system collects real-time data from water flow and temperature sensors and sends the data wirelessly to Google Sheets. An LCD screen shows the water usage live at home. Users can track their daily water use, detect leaks, and estimate water bills. The system was tested for three months and showed a strong connection between water use, temperature, and cost. This system is low-cost, easy to use, and suitable for home water monitoring.
