A GNSS Anti-Spoofing Method Based on Parallel Tracking Processing under Array Antenna Architecture

To deal with the problem of spoofing attack faced by the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) in civil aviation, vehicle traffic and other applications, this paper proposes a method to detect and filter out spoofing based on the spatial characteristics of the signal. Firstly, a multi-channel parallel tracking method based on the loop parameters of the main channel is proposed, which reduces the complexity of obtaining the spatial features of the signal compared with the conventional multi-receiver tracking method. Secondly, a spoofing detection method based on autocorrelation of steering vectors is proposed, which identifies spoofing by detecting the amplitude or phase characteristics of the autocorrelation matrix elements. Finally, a controllable null is constructed spatially to eliminate the corresponding spoofing signal. The simulation and experimental results show that under the typical tracking loop parameters, the accuracy of spoofing detection is not less than 99.4%, and the null depth that can effectively eliminate spoofing is not less than 44 dB.
