Design Analysis of We-Mo Satellite for Atmospheric Parameters

The paper provides a design analysis and demonstration of the Weather Monitornig satellite (We-MoSat), it is an educational tool for understanding of satellite technology and atmospheric monitoring. The We-MoSat is designed to collect atmospheric parameters, including temperature, pressure, humidity, altitude, sound levels, and gas concentrations, during its descent. It is designed for telemetry and imaging missions. The We-MoSat subsystems are control unit, sensory unit, and power supply, it is crucial to adhere to weight and size restrictions for successful satellite operation when choosing components, such as the NodeMCU for processing and several sensors for data collection. The satellite uses an ESP32 camera and a variety of sensors to collect atmospheric data, which is then relayed to a base station and visualized in real time using the ThingSpeak platform. Furthermore, the study describes the We-MoSat's strong hardware architecture, which incorporates high-performance components including the Arduino Nano and a variety of sensors. The onboard computer oversees satellite operations, while a transmitter and receiver allow for efficient contact with ground stations.
