A Smart Voting System Using Biometrics and Embedded Systems

Voter identity verification is still difficult in traditional voting systems. The manipulation of voter lists, ID cards, and signatures by hand can result in voter fraud. A fingerprint-based electronic voting system offers a safe, transparent, and effective alternative. The speed and ease of electronic voting are combined with the precision of biometric identification. The proposed fingerprint-based electronic voting system, which enhances voting security and integrity, is investigated in this study. This technology attempts to avoid repeated voting, impersonation, and unwanted access by fusing biometric authentication with computerized vote casting. It is especially helpful in enhancing efficiency and confidence in contemporary democratic procedures.
