A Novel Development of ANN-fed Fuel Cell for Hybrid Electric Vehicles

The growth of coal power production is reduced day by day because of the high installation cost, needs more time to start the thermal energy production, is more complex in ash handling, and is not useful for electric vehicles. So, the new fuel stack energy production technology is considered in this work for delivering the energy to the four-wheeler consumers. This fuel module technology energy supply nature is nonlinear, thereby making the energy extraction from the source more difficult. This fuel module delivers energy economy by developing a neural network block. Here, the neural network's 1st layer receives the fuel stack-developed voltage, and the load delivers anode current for adjusting the fuel module operating point. This neural model development takes the low value of voltage sensors and power sensors, thereby reducing the implementation cost and system complexity. Finally, a voltage boost-up circuit is developed for the fuel stack to deliver more useful energy to the hydrogen vehicles.
