Research on the Application of Virtual Reality Technology in the Field of Education

In the age of digital intelligence, virtual reality technology is booming and has become a new driving force for educational change. This study systematically reviews the current application status and challenges of VR technology in the field of education through literature analysis and case studies. It is found that VR technology is widely used in education, covering immersive virtual classroom instruction, virtual laboratory, virtual training environment, etc. It can create realistic learning situations, enhance knowledge comprehension and memory, simulate dangerous and complex experiments, provide personalized training, connect the workplace scenarios and improve vocational literacy. However, its application faces challenges in technical, teaching, social and ethical areas. To address these issues, strategies are proposed to promote hardware upgrading, strengthen software construction, improve teacher training system, innovate teaching modes, pay attention to students' health protection, and strengthen data security management. This study is of great significance in promoting the rational application of VR technology in education and the modernization of education, and it is expected to support the cultivation of innovative talents adapted to the future society.
