Practical Exploration of Project-based Learning of the National Common Language and Script for Students in Xizang Empowered by Generative Artificial Intelligence

The education of the national common language and script is a fundamental cause related to national unity, ethnic harmony, and social stability. According to the survey, generally, students in Xizang have reached a proficient level in the national common language, but there is still a gap from the standard of accuracy and fluency; the writing level of the national common script is relatively low, with diverse forms of errors. Starting from project-based learning, this paper, combined with generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), attempts to explore effective ways to improve the teaching quality of the national common language and script for students in Xizang. It proposes a new model led by GenAI to enhance the learning quality of the national common language among ethnic minorities, drives teachers' teaching and teaching research with tasks, and improves students' learning interest and efficiency, aiming to provide references for more effective project-based teaching of the national common language and script in Xizang.
