Online Voting System Analysis Using Google Forms

The voting process for any country is a crucial task, and if it fails or any glitch happens due to security reasons, it may result in the selection of the wrong candidate. The traditional voting process is neither secure nor convenient. As an example of the COVID-19 period, many people are afraid of gatherings and avoid long lines. There can be many reasons why people do not cast their vote, which results into the lower throughput of the voting process. Online voting systems can be a tremendous solution for this as many online platforms like Banking, the stock market, etc. Then why can't we vote online? Blockchain technology can be a very good solution for online voting due to many more inherited features. Blockchain is a point-to-point and decentralized network that saves details in a distributed ledger form. This technology provides a secure environment due to its immutable nature. In this paper, we discussed the online voting process based on blockchain technology and the extensive analysis of the online voting system, which is being done with a public survey using Purposive Sampling with Google Forms for feedback. In the later part of the paper made a conclusion based on the received responses and proposed a solution implementation stack to achieve the goal.
