Securing IIoT Text Data with Modified Homomorphic Encryption and Complementary Data Security Techniques

The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) has ushered in a revolution through its facility of real time data interchange and improvement in operational efficiency in a number of different industries. But text data is important, and because of the potential weaknesses exploited by cyberattacks, it must be protected. This study provides a complete strategy for securing text data with the Internet of Things (IoT) via Modified Homomorphic Encryption (MHE) and other complementing data security techniques. Using the MHE, data does not have to be revealed to perform a safe calculation because all of the processing occurs without ever seeing raw data. All the way through the life of the data, this information is been passed through additional layers of metadata like access control mechanisms, machine learning based anomaly detection and secure data transport protocols to guarantee that the data is being confidential, integers and valid. The technique meets the security requirements of IIoT systems, while solving for low latency and scalability. Unauthorized access, data breach and cyber attacks are some of these challenges that the projects need to meet and overcome.
