Analysis of Factors Affecting Plant Power Consumption Rate and Identification of Abnormal Data in Coal-Fired Power Plants

Under the background of duel carbon target and the demand of grid deep peaking, the analysis of factors influencing the plant power consumption rate of coal-fired power plants and the identification of abnormal data are crucial for energy efficiency improvement and lean billing. Based on Ebsilon software, this paper constructs thermal system simulation models for 300MW, 350MW and 600MW coal-fired power units, and quantitatively analyzes the influence mechanism of load rate, ambient temperature, coal calorific value, fan efficiency, pump efficiency and air compressor efficiency on plant power consumption rate using the control variable method. The study shows that the plant power consumption rate is negatively correlated with the load factor and the calorific value of coal type, and positively correlated with the ambient temperature and the fan/pump/compressor efficiencies, among which the load factor and the calorific value of coal type have the greatest influence on the plant power consumption rate. Combined with the typical annual meteorological data in northern Hebei, the fluctuation range of the plant power consumption rate of coal-fired units in different seasons is calculated, and the causal factors of abnormal data are identified from the dimensions of equipment performance, load characteristics, fuel quality and management factors.
