Design and Development of Three-Phase Interleaved Parallel Buck -Boost Converter

To solve the problems of large output current ripple and large component size in traditional non isolated bidirectional DC/DC converters. A non isolated bidirectional three-phase interleaved parallel Buck Boost DC converter based on interleaved parallel technology is proposed for this purpose. This topology structure achieves bidirectional energy transmission through the timing interleaved control of three-phase power switch tubes. Compared with traditional single-phase structures, it has the advantages of smaller magnetic component volume, easier control strategy, and effective reduction of current ripple. Firstly, analyze the topology structure of the converter and its working states in two modes. Secondly, design the main components and develop a voltage current dual loop control strategy. Finally, MATLAB software simulation and experimental prototype were built to verify the theoretical analysis results on the simulation platform and experimental prototype. The experimental results show that the three-phase interleaved parallel Buck Boost converter has good current sharing effect on the three-phase inductance and can reduce the output current ripple.
