Design, Implementation and Construction of an Efficient Solar Inverter System for Rural Area Applications

The parallel developments in renewable energy technologies and telecommunications have enabled innovative solutions to emerge, particularly in the context of solar energy systems. Existing studies indicated various designs of solar inverter systems; however, this study advances discourse by integrating a Bluetooth module to create a more interactive solar inverter system. The ensuing exploration focuses on the design, implementation, and construction of a solar inverter employing an array of electronic components including the PIC18F2550 microcontroller, HC-05 Bluetooth module, A6 v3.1 GSM module, SG3525 PWM controller, current transformer operational amplifier, battery management system, IRF360, and IRF3205S. These components were formulated and designed and implemented in Proteus software. The system boasts a real-time feedback loop via Bluetooth, offering users the ability to monitor and control the inverter through a smartphone application. The findings of this study affirm the system's dynamic responsiveness and demonstrate its viability for renewable energy applications. Furthermore, the proposed system is presented as an efficient and economical solution for households seeking to embrace renewable energy management.
