Efficiency Optimization Control of Linear Induction Motor

Linear induction motor (LIM), due to their unique air-gap structures, secondary segment designs, and end effects, generally have low operating efficiencies under low-speed and low-load conditions. In the industry, the efficiency optimization control strategy of the model-based method (LMC) is often used for efficiency optimization control. However, LMC has poor parameter robustness and is vulnerable to system noise interference, and there is still room for improvement in the operating efficiency of the motor during practical use. In this paper, the Golden Section Method (GSM) is introduced on the basis of LMC to obtain the improved efficiency optimization control (LMC-GSM), aiming to enhance the operating efficiency and parameter robustness of linear induction motors under low-speed and light-load conditions. Finally, experimental verification is carried out using the dSPACE platform.
