Optimization of the trading mechanism of the electricity market considering the carbon market and the renewable energy quota system

With the proposal of China's "dual carbon" goal and the construction of a new power system, how to reduce the total carbon emission value of power generation enterprises and increase the share of renewable energy power generation is an important issue facing China. In view of this, this paper improves the traditional electricity market trading mechanism, proposes an optimization model of electricity trading considering the carbon market and renewable energy quota system, and uses the CPLEX solver to solve the model with the goal of minimizing the carbon emissions of power generation enterprises and the lowest power purchase cost of users. Comparing the optimized trading mechanism proposed in this paper with the traditional electric energy market trading mechanism, it is verified that the trading mechanism corresponding to the optimized model in this paper can effectively reduce carbon emissions and reduce the total cost of electricity purchase for users.
