Research on Wind Resource Utilisation from the Perspective of Wind Speed and Turbine Matching

The coastal regions of Jiangsu are rich in wind energy resources and possess significant development potential. This paper first analyses the inherent characteristics of wind energy resources in the coastal areas of Jiangsu, as well as the current status of their development and utilisation, along with the challenges faced. Based on this, the paper examines the efficiency of wind energy utilisation from the perspective of matching wind conditions with turbine models. The research findings indicate that matching wind speed with turbine model is a core component of enhancing energy utilisation efficiency and is crucial for the sustainability of wind energy development in the coastal areas of Jiangsu. The strategies proposed in this paper aim to provide theoretical foundations and practical references for the efficient utilisation and sustainable development of wind energy resources in the coastal areas of Jiangsu.
