Design of multi-source combined intelligent control system for hot water circulation

To reduce coal pollution, improve air quality, utilize resources efficiently, and meet national energy conservation and environmental protection requirements, this paper presents an intelligent control system for multi-source hot water circulation. The system integrates multiple technologies, including heat pump control, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) control, network communication, video monitoring, among others. It collects data on equipment operating conditions and the field environment and transmits them to a Central Processing Unit (CPU). The CPU uses an optimal control algorithm to manage the system, achieving intelligent multi-source hot water circulation control while effectively reducing resource consumption. Additionally, the system supports remote monitoring and can also be controlled via on-site primary electrical controllers. This redundant control mechanism ensures safe operation and prevents serious consequences in the event of an intelligent control system failure. The system optimally schedules the operating times of multiple heat sources—including an air-source heat pump, a sewage-source heat pump, a solar heating unit, and an oil burner—thereby optimizing resource allocation. It also supports real-time monitoring through various smart terminals. The design and implementation of this system provide a useful reference for developing intelligent hot water circulation control systems.
