A Study on the Design of Main Circuit Parameters of Multiphase TLVR Converter

The high demand of data centres for high efficiency, high power density and fast dynamic response of their power supplies has become the key to the new era of technology development. The transconductance voltage regulator (TLVR) proposed in recent years is perhaps the most important topology development in low voltage, high current, multiphase power solutions for data centres. This paper focuses on analysing the main circuit parameter design process of the polyphase TLVR converter, studying the relationship between its output current ripple and voltage swing rate and the main circuit parameters, giving the basis that can guide the parameter design of the polyphase TLVR converter, carrying out the parameter design and physical construction, and verifying the correctness of the parameter design of the polyphase TLVR converter by constructing a 60W experimental prototype at a low cost.
