Fuzzy Linguistic LINQ

This paper presents the concept of a software library designed for issuing linguistic queries to data collections. The library leverages the functional programming paradigm to provide an expressive and flexible framework for handling imprecise, human-centric information. The proposed library is implemented in the C# language as an extension of the LINQ library, enabling intuitive query construction and execution. By incorporating fuzzy logic principles, the library supports linguistic terms and membership degrees, facilitating queries that reflect natural language expressions such as "middle-aged employees" or "high salaries".
