Design of a Remote Control System for Bridge Pier Spraying Machine Based on PLC

In response to the issues of low production efficiency, unstable quality of manual spraying, and the dangers involved in high-altitude spraying operations, this paper designs a bridge pier spraying machine and its control system. The action execution process of the main spraying equipment is planned according to the actual work characteristics. The mechanical structure mainly consists of the spraying machine body, negative pressure fan, omnidirectional wheel set, and spray gun device. The control part uses PLC programmable equipment to achieve real-time monitoring and control of parameters such as the working camera, voltage, current, and coating thickness. Finally, specialized remote visualization software is designed to transmit the spray images captured by the camera, enabling real-time monitoring of the spraying work status and timely adjustments. Field applications show that the system can greatly improve spraying efficiency and meet actual usage requirements.
