A multi-objective optimal control strategy of PWM rectifier for flexible DC traction power supply system

In flexible DC traction power supply system, stable operation of the three-phase PWM rectifier of the flexible traction substation is in order to ensure stable operation of the system. Considering the special scenario of traction power supply, the control of three-phase PWM rectifier in the traction substation not only needs to ensure fast dynamic response and strong anti-interference ability of the DC voltage on the traction network side, but it also needs to ensure a good power quality on the three-phase grid side. Therefore, this paper studies a multi-objective optimization control strategy to achieve a good power quality on the grid side and the DC side at the same time. The effectiveness of the proposed control strategy is verified by comparing with a traditional PI control strategy using simulations.
