Design and Analysis of a Small Multifunctional Robot for Harvesting Above-Ground Stem Produce

A multifunctional robot for harvesting aboveground stemmed agricultural products, with functions such as cutting and collection of economic products, has been investigated. A crank-rocker propulsion device was designed to meet the collection requirement. Its dynamic motion characteristics were analysed by using ANSYS to verify the reasonableness of the design, and its motion curves were plotted by using Python. Static and modal analyses of the tool were carried out to obtain the stress, displacement and modal vibration patterns. The rationality and practicality of the robot design are verified by simulation analysis. The experiments finally show the practicality of this agricultural harvesting robot.
