Research on UAV-Based Digital Intelligent Safety Monitoring System for Transmission Line Engineering

With the expansion and complexity of power grid, the traditional manual inspection method has been difficult to meet the needs of safe and stable operation. The application of UAV technology provides an efficient, safe and intelligent inspection method for the power industry, which can reduce labor costs and improve the inspection scope and efficiency. This study constructs a system architecture, including UAV patrol module, data transmission module, data processing and analysis module, early warning and decisionmaking module, forming a closed-loop monitoring process. The key technologies include autonomous inspection and obstacle avoidance technology of UAV, high-precision image acquisition, real-time data transmission and communication technology, early warning and decision support system. The experimental verification shows that the inspection method of UAV has obvious advantages in improving inspection efficiency, accuracy and safety. Compared with the traditional inspection method, the inspection time is greatly shortened, the number of fault points is increased, and the safety of inspection personnel is guaranteed under complex terrain and bad weather conditions. Through automatic flight and intelligent identification technology, the system improves the timeliness and accuracy of inspection work, and reduces the labor cost and the possibility of accidents. Modular design makes the system easy to expand and upgrade to meet the changing inspection requirements. The intelligent safety monitoring system based on UAV is not only suitable for power industry, but also can be extended to industries that need regular inspection, such as railways, bridges, oil and gas pipelines, and has broad application prospects and market potential.
