Soft Open Point Planning for Flexible Distribution Networks Based on Voltage Sensitivity

With the continuous development of the use of new energy sources, the proportion of a large number of distributed energy sources connected to the distribution network is increasing. However, the intermittent power output characteristics of these sources have led to increasingly serious voltage limitation and bidirectional power flow problems. Flexible distribution networks have proposed a reasonable architectural model to accommodate highly integrated distributed power sources and to adapt the operation of the distribution network in an efficient and economical manner. The flexible distribution network is based on flexible interconnection and expansion of soft open point (SOP), which enable power flow scheduling and voltage regulation throughout the distribution network, with strong controllability and compatibility. However, the high investment cost of SOP makes the configuration of soft open points particularly critical. This paper proposes a planning method for flexible distribution networks based on voltage sensitivity. Then solve using a second-order cone programming algorithm.
