Research on the Algorithm for Constructing Real-Life 3D Models of Transmission Lines Based on Satellite Stereo Imaging

This study deeply explores the innovative algorithm of real-scene 3D modeling of power transmission lines. In the beginning, the principle of multi-view geometry is used to analyze satellite images and accurately locate the key nodes and geometric properties of the power transmission lines. Then, with the help of image matching technology, the accurate calibration of multi-angle satellite images is realized, thereby obtaining high-fidelity 3D point group data. A special noise and redundant data filtering process is set up in this paper to greatly enhance the accuracy and robustness of the model. In the final chapter, the self-adjusting grid technology is used to implement 3D reconstruction of the point group and forge a complete real-scene model of the power transmission line. This study uses a series of satellite stereo image data for empirical testing. The simulation results show that this method shows excellent precision in feature point identification and 3D modeling. After quantitative evaluation, the 3D model error is strictly controlled at the decimeter level, and the point group calibration deviation is less than ten centimeters, which significantly improves the spatial description accuracy and model reliability of the power transmission line. The contribution of this paper provides advanced and accurate technical solutions for the inspection and maintenance of transmission lines.
