Brain Tumor Segmentation Using LadderNet in MRI Images

The proposed work focuses on using LadderNet for Brain Tumor segmentation using MRI signals through the dataset as an input. The method is helpful in computerized medical analysis. Although various studies have given remarkable results, it is worth noting that most of these studies have been concentrated on the mere presence or absence of tumors and not any further segmentation approaches for characterizing these tumors. The proposed study aims to detect and segment the tumor based on the type of tumor. The study demonstrates the performance of AUC is 95.04% with a mean accuracy of 90.82%. The results obtained can be effectively used for brain tumor segmentation and it can significantly help in the medical examination of brain tumors.
