Compact Dual Band Dual Polarized Triangular Split Ring Antenna

This paper proposes a compact dual-band, dual-polarized triangular split ring antenna (TSRA) designed to operate at 2.45 GHz and 4.0-4.62 GHz WLAN and C-band satellite communication. Fabricated on an FR-4 substrate with a relative permittivity of Ꜫr = 4.4 and a thickness of 1.6 mm, the antenna incorporated a dual-ring configuration with precisely engineered gaps to achieve circular polarization. Simulated results demonstrate an axial ratio of 3 dB and reflection coefficient better than -10 dB in both bands. The proposed antenna could be useful for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IoT applications, and C-band satellite communication.
