A Method for Determining the Landing Point Position and the Number of Landings in Aircraft Training Route

Fatal flight accidents during the takeoff and landing phase account for more than 50% of the total number of accidents. Therefore, it is extremely important to conduct research and analysis on takeoff and landing flight technology based on flight parameter data. However, in actual flight training, under the condition of limited information, the takeoff and landing status and basic information in flight training can often not be directly judged. For example, a flight parameter data package may contain multiple takeoff and landing exercises, and there may be situations such as touch-and-go and direct pull-up go-around in a data package. This makes it impossible to carry out automated takeoff and landing route analysis based on flight parameters in actual flight parameter data. To this end, this paper proposes a method to determine the number of takeoffs and landings and the landing points based on altitude intervals. The specific steps include four steps: Loading flight parameter data, Date cleaning and preprocessing, judging the number of takeoffs and landings based on altitude intervals, and determining the location of landing points based on distance. The method is verified through a case study. The analysis shows that the flight parameter data package in the case contains 8 takeoffs and landings. Meanwhile, the aircraft's landing flight direction and the expected ideal landing point are calculated. The results are consistent with manual judgment, which proves the applicability of the method. Based on this method, automated analysis of flight parameter data can be carried out, which solves the problems of slow speed and low efficiency of previous manual analysis, and can provide a good reference and methodological basis for subsequent takeoff and landing flight technology analysis based on flight parameter data.
