A minimized wideband dual-band filter with micro-coaxial coupling lines

This paper proposes a wideband dual-band filter based on minimized micro-coaxial coupling lines. The proposed filter utilizes two E-shaped resonators to achieve dual-band and filtering functions by designing the resonate characteristics of the odd and even modes of the resonators. To verify the feasibility of the scheme, a dual-band filter with center frequencies of 18.88 GHz and 39.39GHz was designed and analyzed. The fractional bandwidths of the two passbands are 48.26% and 15.74%, showing that the simulated results meet the performance requirements.
