A DC Offset Compensation Strategy for PMSM Position Sensorless Control Drive System

In aerospace industrial motor drive systems, compact mechanical structures and high-temperature environments often lead to severe electromagnetic interference, making current signal sampling prone to introducing DC offset components, which adversely affect control performance. In this paper, the influence of DC offset on rotor position estimation performance is analyzed, and a rotor position estimation model that accounts for DC offset is established. In addition, to address the insufficient AC filtering capability of traditional Proportional-Integral (PI)-Type DC offset compensators, a quasi-proportional resonant (QPR)-Type DC offset compensator is proposed. Moreover, the working principle, parameter design method, AC harmonic suppression characteristics, and parameter sensitivity analysis of the proposed QPR-Type DC offset compensator are presented. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is experimentally validated on an aerospace electric drive platform.
