Parameter Free Sliding Mode Predictive Control Strategy for Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor Adapted to Servo System

A parameter free sliding mode predictive current control method is proposed to address the challenge of parameter mismatch in the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) driven systems. By employing model predictive control, the PMLSM drive systems retain excellent performance, when confronted with distorted input voltage waveforms. Furthermore, a cost function for parameter free current control is constructed, thereby mitigating the dependency of model predictive control on parameter accuracy. Secondly, to further augment its control efficacy, a weighting mechanism is integrated into the predictive control methodology. The simulation results show that the proposed method can maintain good control performance, characterized by fast response and high stability, of the PMLSM drive systems under parameter mismatch, significantly enhancing system robustness and possessing practical engineering significance.
