An Incremental Model Based Disturbance Compensation System for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors

The performance of the sliding mode observer is highly dependent on the design of the sliding mode surface, the selection of the switching gain and the reaching law parameter tuning, so this paper proposes an incremental compensation system for compensating the speed disturbance of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). First, a sliding mode speed controller with an extended sliding mode disturbance observer is constructed based on the exponential reaching law; second, an observer is constructed based on the incremental model and the constructed cost function, which requires only one parameter to observe the observed disturbance in real time and greatly reduces the unfavorable influence of the parameter. After that, the model is combined with predictive current control to form a permanent magnet synchronous motor speed control drive system. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is emphasized by simulation.
