Design of Floating Test Platform for Offshore Floating Photovoltaic System

As global energy demand continues to rise, floating photovoltaic systems on bodies of water offer a promising solution to the growing scarcity of land resources. However, this technology remains in the initial stages of development and faces several challenges in the execution of experimental studies. To enhance the efficiency and ease of these experiments, this paper introduces an innovative experimental platform design utilizing a rotating boom suspension system to simulate wave motion. Through rigorous mathematical modeling and simulation analysis, it has been demonstrated that the platform can achieve precise positioning and angle adjustments in three-dimensional space. This capability allows for accurate simulation of the effects of real wave dynamics on objects placed on the platform, thereby facilitating more effective experimental research. The findings of this study offer a valuable reference for researchers involved in similar investigations.
