Analysis of Electro-Hydraulic Servo Control System Characteristics for Umbilical Cable Fatigue Testing Machine

The tension-bending combined fatigue testing machine for umbilical cables can be used to simulate the loading environment of umbilical cables under marine operating conditions, providing a scientific basis for improving the design of umbilical cables and enhancing their fatigue life. Based on the preliminary design scheme of the fatigue testing machine, this paper analyzes the deformation laws of the simplified loading model of the umbilical cable under combined tension and bending loads. Subsequently, a dynamic model of the electro-hydraulic servo system is established. The variable stiffness characteristics of the umbilical cable are studied and analyzed, and the influence of changes in the spring stiffness of the umbilical cable on the characteristics of the electro-hydraulic servo system is investigated.
