Control Method and Implementation of Multi-component Calibration High Impact Test System

The traditional single-axis calibration methods are inadequate for modern triaxial sensors, necessitating the development of multi-component high-impact testing and calibration technologies. To address this, a multi-component high-impact calibration system was designed and constructed. This system employs a touchscreen and microcontroller to control the impact loading process. Strain gauges are utilized to measure axial stress wave signals, which are then decomposed into orthogonal triaxial stress wave pulses through the lateral effects of the sensor mounting base. These pulses simultaneously load the triaxial sensor. Data acquisition and processing are managed via a MATLAB-based program, enabling precise calibration of the triaxial high-impact accelerometer's sensitivity. Repeated impact tests conducted with this system demonstrated that it meets the required calibration standards.
