Factors and Challenges Impacting the Adoption of Artificial Intelligence Tools in Graphic Design

This paper explores the key factors and challenges influencing the adoption of AI tools in graphic design, with a focus on technological progress, user skill levels, adaptability, cost, accessibility, intention to adopt, and perceived advantages. A structural equation model was employed to analyze data collected through a custom-designed questionnaire. Quantitative analysis, including correlation tests, was conducted to uncover significant relationships among variables. The findings reveal that while advancements in technology are recognized for enhancing creativity and productivity, other factors such as skill proficiency, adaptability, cost, and perceived benefits play crucial roles in the adoption process. The study emphasizes the need for a comprehensive strategy that addresses these various factors to facilitate the effective integration of AI within the graphic design field.
