Blockchain-Based Authentication for Secure Document Sharing with AES Encryption and Steganography

In response to escalating threats to academic data integrity, this paper presents the College Student Data Security Application, a pioneering framework that synergistically combines blockchain, AES encryption, and steganography for secure document sharing. Developed using Django, the system leverages cryptosteganography to embed encrypted academic records within images via the Least Significant Bit (LSB) technique, achieving robust concealment with minimal visual distortion. AES encryption ensures data confidentiality, while blockchain-based authentication, implemented through MetaMask and Ganache, establishes a decentralized, tamper-proof mechanism for identity verification and access control. This integration eliminates centralized vulnerabilities, offering students granular control over their records within an immutable ledger. Evaluated through rigorous testing, the system demonstrates efficient embedding and high resistance to unauthorized access, though scalability challenges persist with larger datasets. This work advances secure data management in educational contexts, providing a scalable, privacy-centric solution adaptable to broader domains. Future enhancements will focus on optimizing blockchain efficiency and enhancing user accessibility, positioning this framework as a benchmark for decentralized security applications.
