Unveiling the Potential of DHM, HCPS, and HRI in Advancing Human Digital Twin Technology

The Human Digital Twin (HDT) concept integrates human characteristics like behavior, physiological state, and cognition into digital systems that interact in real time with physical and cyber environments. The study explores how fields such as Digital Human Modeling (DHM), Human-Cyber-Physical Systems (HCPS), and Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) can contribute to advancing HDTs, enhancing their ability to represent and respond to human interactions. Although applicable across various sectors, HDT has potential in agriculture, with applications focused on ergonomic improvements, real-time monitoring, and operational efficiency. In addition, challenges such as data integration, ethical concerns, and limited infrastructure are highlighted, along with opportunities for future research. This study concludes that the interaction between DHM, HCPS, and HRI provides valuable tools and concepts to expand the scope and functionality of HDTs, reinforcing a human-centered approach to optimizing systems.
