Simulation Study on Coupling Between Ultra-Wideband High-Power Microwave and RF Module

To address the coupling effect of high-power microwaves on integrated circuits, electromagnetic simulation software is used to simulate high-power microwave irradiation on a certain model of RF module. We studied and calculated the coupling signal and electromagnetic distribution of three different pulse width coefficients of ultra-wide band high-power microwaves on RF modules. The results showed that as the pulse width coefficient decreased, the coupling response of electronic device ports increased, oscillation became more severe, and the device was more susceptible to damage.
