Interrupted-Sampling Repetitive Repeater Jamming with Segmented Frequency-Shift and Segmented Noise Convolution

To address the issue where each isolated false target in Interrupted-Sampling Repeater Jamming (ISRRJ) cannot simultaneously have specific position and coverage, a method with segmented frequency-shift and segmented noise convolution is proposed. Segmented frequency-shift ISRRJ assigns each isolated false target a specific frequency shift, resulting in diverse false target position distribution. Segmented noise convolution ISRRJ convolves each isolated false target with noise of specific time widths, generating diverse false target coverage. By combining segmented frequency-shift and segmented noise convolution, each isolated false target gains independent position distribution and coverage with random amplitude. In this paper, ISRRJ is divided into deceptive and suppressive ISRRJ, convolving with short and long time-width noise respectively. The simulation results show that the proposed jamming method exhibits a deception effect at specific distances, a suppression effect near real targets, and that the false targets do not interfere with each other, with amplitudes being random. The proposed jamming method can independently adjust the position and coverage of each isolated false target, thereby presenting a dual jamming effect of deception and suppression in space, with the amplitudes of the false targets being random.
