Design and Application of Fast Phase Calibration for Tracking Satellite at Remote Sensing Ground Station

Monopole self-tracking is a zero-value automatic tracking system, which has the characteristics of fast dynamic response and high tracking accuracy. However, due to the influence of antenna axis drift, environmental temperature change, antenna polarization tracking and other factors, the relative phase shift of sum and difference channels leads to the deterioration of the cross-coupling index. The sum-difference channel phase difference of the single-channel monopulse tracking system must be corrected regularly to ensure the stable tracking of the antenna and the stable operation of the system. In this paper, the method of fast phase correction with satellite is used. By measuring two points of the target in the main beam of the antenna, the error voltage value and relative motion angle of the antenna before and after moving relative to the target are obtained, and then the phase correction value and directional sensitivity are calculated to complete the phase correction quickly. At the same time, combined with the engineering application of the GF satellite station, the design of fast phase correction with satellite is verified to meet the use requirements of the system.
