Objective Optimization of Short Primary Linear Induction Motor Considering Winding Temperature Rise

The most applied motors for electromagnetic ejection are linear induction motors, and in order to reduce the cost, short primary linear induction motors are often used. In this paper, a one-dimensional mathematical model of the short primary linear induction motor is firstly established, and the formula of the maximum thrust is deduced, then the formula of the weight of the mover and the formula of the temperature rise of the primary winding are deduced, and finally the optimization variables are selected, and the maximum thrust-to-weight ratio and the minimum temperature rise are taken as the objective functions to optimize the short primary linear induction motor.
