A Review of Single-Phase Grounding Fault Routing Techniques for Small-Current Grounding Systems

China's distribution network mostly uses small current grounding, in the distribution network, single-phase ground faults account for 80 %, and long-term operation with grounding point is very easy to expand to multi-point grounding, which seriously affects the safety and stability of the power grid. Therefore, how to accurately select the fault line is always the key problem of fault diagnosis in distribution networks. However, due to the relatively large number of types of small-current grounding faults and the existence of transition resistance and fault initial phase angle and other aspects of the impact, so that the current problem of line selection has not been well solved. Therefore, on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of single-phase grounding faults in distribution networks, this paper summarizes and concludes the existing wire routing algorithms and puts forward the research direction of future wire routing methods.
