An Empirical Investigation into Successful Natural Calamity Prediction Through Animal Behavior Monitoring

Natural calamities such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions are momentous threats to human lives and infrastructure. Traditional prediction methods, including seismic sensors and meteorological models, have failed to serve as a source for providing early warnings. This study explores the potential of using animal behaviour as an empirical indicator for predicting natural disasters. We analyse that by analysing behavioural changes in various animal species before calamities, have accurate predictions of impending disasters been made. This review seeks to establish a scientific correlation between animal responses and impending natural events. It aims to establish a scientific foundation for further experimental studies in this domain.
