Optimizing Energy Costs in Blockchain Mining: A Multi-Source Approach

Blockchain mining’s growing energy consumption raises concerns about profitability and environmental impact. We introduce the Multi-Source Energy Cost (MSEC) model, which optimizes energy costs by integrating renewable energy sources, dynamic pricing, and battery storage. Unlike previous approaches that rely on a single energy source, the MSEC model adapts to real-time energy price fluctuations and optimizes power distribution. Initial evaluations indicate cost reductions of up to 84.26%, demonstrating its potential for sustainable and efficient blockchain mining.
