Advancements in Electrical Machines for E-Mobility

The growing trend in the electrification of all modes of transportation has led to an increasing demand for electrical machines specifically $d$ eveloped $f$ or $t$ his sector. $T$ his has resulted in advancements in electrical machines over the past few decades, primarily intended for e-mobility applications. This paper presents a review of these machines, with a focus on their applications in the automotive sector. The paper discusses the challenges and requirements for these machines, as well as the main technological themes. Additionally, a brief overview of current technologies is provided, and some real topologies are compared.
