The Construction of “Family-School-Society Linkage” Inquiry Model for Primary School Science Empowered by AI Agent

Under the “Double Reduction” policy, enhancing science education and cultivating scientific literacy in primary students require effective family-school-society linkages. However, barriers among these three entities and limitations in teaching methods, content resources, and intelligent support remain challenges. Under the guidance of Inquiry-Based Learning, Outcomes-Based Education, Synergy Theory, and Overlapping Spheres of Influence, this study addressed the problems such as rigid teaching methods, limited content resources, and lack of intelligent support. Firstly, this study adopted the methods of literature research, theoretical deduction to clarify the general process of primary school scientific inquiry, and proposed the family-school-society linkage mechanism. Then, this study analyzed the empowering role of AI agent within family-school-society, and constructed the family-school-society linkage inquiry model of primary school science empowered by AI agent. Finally, the effectiveness of the model was examined through conducting a quasiexperimental study. Results show that the model significantly improves students' scientific inquiry competence, enriches their experiences, and innovates primary science education, offering a valuable reference for the digital transformation of primary science teaching.
